IT’S hard to understand the selfish mind-set of fly-tippers who dump items in our local beauty spots.
The latest has left plastic bags, electrical goods, wooden boards and even a metal trolley scattered down a bank in picturesque Seven Acres Country Park between Tonge Moor and Breightmet in Bolton.
This is as costly as it is unsightly and results in large amounts of work to put right. The idiots who do this need naming and shaming, with tougher sentences in the courts resulting.
Fly-tippers blight our countryside and our lives. If you spot one, please report them to the authorities.
