THERE is a popular political misconception held by some people who have done well for themselves and vote for the Conservative Party at election time, and why wouldn't they, it is the party that supports businesses so it is logical for many to do this.

Although the Tories do support businesses, those businesses tare corporations, trans-national conglomerates and the banking sector.

For a small business or a self employed person, the Tories have little interest in supporting you. Sure enough you might pay a little less tax at the end of the year, but at the end of the day if a small local business or self employed person votes for the Tories, they will use your vote against you because their policies are only really geared up to anyone earning well over 250k a year.

The famous high street coffee providers pay very little in the way of tax whilst again the family run coffee shop has to pay in full. We shouldn't be fooled into thinking that this government is 'One nation Conservatives', it is far from it and is destroying both economy and community as it decimates and asset strip our services and squander our taxes bailing out banks and giving away billions to corporations and big businesses.
