THE Remain campaign talk about the risks of leaving the EU, what a cheek; who told the British people when we joined a common market in 1973 we would be handing over, net, £180 million pounds a week to Brussels, money we never see again.

That we would have to bail out bankrupt EU members like Greece, that we would see immigration go from the thousands to the hundreds of thousands. Who said that, thanks to the Euro, we would be tied to the only part of the planet whose economy is not growing?

Who told us we would be bombarded with thousands of new laws and regulations, that the decisions of British courts would be over turned, that the rights of terrorists seem to trump those of ordinary citizens and that we would be stuck with an unelected, unaccountable and unknown EU president.

Most people thought we were joining a common market it is now clear that it is a political project designed to create a United States of Europe; we should leave now; the elites that benefit from this racket will not give us a second chance.
