The damning report from MPs into the collapse of the flagship high street retail chain BHS has described Sir Philip Green as "the unacceptable face of capitalism".

Sir Philip Green and others are said to have got rich on the back of the company and its workforce whilst leaving the the company on "life support".

He is said to be responsible for a £571 million black hole in the BHS pensions fund. What a terrible situation for thousands of former BHS workers who now have the worry and uncertainty of not knowing what will happen with their occupational pensions.

The lack of transparency and accountability in the boardrooms is a huge problem in the UK and around the world.

This problem is caused by the economics of greed and excess at the top, which is always at the expense of those at the bottom. Those responsible for events such as those at BHS should be held to account. For starters I would like to see Philip Green stripped of his knighthood.
