CLLR Nick Peel tells us that large families with six or more people, families with three or more children with nappies, and households with one or more people producing medical waste may be able to keep their larger grey bins as long as they are recycling and using all the containers.

This seems to be another instant decision which has been made without much thought.

What will happen when a large family is reduced because some of them have left, babies are out of nappies, and there is no longer any medical waste perhaps because the persons health problem has been resolved or they have died?

Will they be allowed to keep the larger grey bins whilst the rest of us have to struggle with the smaller bins?

Who will monitor this? The collection crews do not always put the bins back after emptying them to the place where they have collected them from. Sometimes they leave them all over the place so how will they cope with another task?
