Interchange ‘not wanted’
THE £48 million for a new transport interchange in Bolton that nobody wants will have a detrimental effect on the town centre and Bolton Market.
The council, in conjunction with the developer, St Modwen, can’t even spend a few million quid on Farnworth town centre, including a new bus station.
We have already been waiting more than 10 years for this re-development.
