A WOMAN was left with neck injuries after a rush-hour car crash near Bolton town centre.

The driver was in a Renault Clio near the Travelodge hotel in Bradford Street at 8.50am when another vehicle "clipped" the car, according to police.

Police said an ambulance was sent to the scene and paramedics treated the woman for neck pains.

They described her injuries as "minor".

The road has not been closed, though police warned that motorists could face some delays.
