Athlone Avenue
A DOG has been seized from a house in Astley Bridge.
Police were called to a house in Athlone Avenue at about 11.48am today after reports of a potentially dangerous dog.
They entered the house and seized the dog, which has now been left in the care of pet medics.
Witnesses reported seeing a large police presence in the street.
There were no arrests made during the raid.
