HAIRDRESSING students put on the style for Christmas.
Bolton College students staged a festive-themed Hair-Ganza — showcasing their skills and the latest seasonal hair trends.
The styles were festively embellished with frosted sparkles and were created and perfected in the college’s Wella Centre of Excellence.
The event helped students develop their entrepreneurial skills, for as designing their very own avant-garde hair-up styles, they created booklets for the event in aid of Cancer Research.
Abigail Chapman, Hairdressing Instructor and Work-Based Assessor, said: “The students produced some excellent work for the Hair Ganza.
“Not only did they take part, but the learners also planned every detail of the event — from creating proposals to the advertisement.
“ It was even their idea to raise money for charity!
"I'm sure these students have a lot more to bring in the future and hopefully this will be the first of many similar events within Bolton College.”
