A YOUNG street dance team is jumping for joy after qualifying for the finals of a prestigious competition.
A team of dancers from the Active Dance group in Bradley Fold have landed a place in the UDO Street Dance World Championships at the SECC Arena in Glasgow next month.
The team, named Tinyrox, is made up of children under 10 who beat off competition at the regional heats to represent Bolton and the North West at the event.
Now parents and friends from the dance group, which is also based at Bolholt Industrial Park in Elton, have launched a fundraising appeal to help fund the trip.
The team has received funding of £1,000 from developers William Developments towards new team tracksuits and team costumes and parents have organised a fundraising fun day for Sunday.
The event will be held at Burnden Sports Complex and will include a bouncy castle, laser quest, tombola and a raffle with prizes donated by business and celebrities including comedians Justin Moorhouse and Jason Manford.
