THREE raiders wearing skeleton masks broke into a supermarket in Westhoughton.
The three men targeted Sainsbury’s in Cricketers Way at about 10pm on Wednesday.
The thieves took a number of games consoles worth around £1,000 after gaining entry to the store through a back door.
Police said the men ran into the store after closing hours and ordered staff to leave, as they carried out the theft.
Locals reported that the men stole Xbox and PlayStation 4 consoles then left through another door which set the alarm off.
It was also reported a stolen vehicle was found near the back of Sainsbury’s but this has not been confirmed.
Police said no staff were injured and inquiries are ongoing.
Sainsbury's said they did not wish to comment.
