MEET bouncing baby Archie Smalley – the new face of supermarket giant Aldi.

The cute 10-month-old has become a bit of a celebrity after featuring on the front cover of Aldi’s supermarket magazine.

Mum Nicole Bayley, aged 25, from Farnworth, is delighted with his celeb status and hopes there will be more magazine shoots to come.

She signed little Archie up to modelling agency EuroKids after spotting how great he looked in a series of baby photographs.

Miss Bayley of Wood Edge Close, also has a five-year-old son called Cody with partner Ian Smalley. She said: “When he was a couple of months old we had some pictures done by a friend and they were really good. He was really photogenic so I just thought why not sign him up for modelling.

“I was at work and my friend rang me and asked me had I seen Archie on the front cover of the Aldi magazine. I couldn’t believe it, I was like ‘no way is he on the front cover’ we only expected a little picture inside the magazine. All my friends and family were ringing to say they had seen him. We are so proud of him.”

Since his first big break in Aldi’s January ‘Special Buys’ magazine, the youngster has been offered other jobs.

But Miss Bayley, who works as a letting agent, said he is going through a bit of a naughty stage.

She said: “He is very cheeky and he has just started walking so he is in everything. We have been contacted by the agency a few times since but he has been going through a bit of a naughty stage, but we are hoping to get him into more things soon. He is very loving and loves the camera but not as much as his big brother Cody who he just loves to follow around.”
