POLICE have been conducting investigations at a house in a Farnworth cul-de-sac for almost a week.
Officers first raided the semi-detached property in Crompton Mews, off Edwin Street, on Monday and have maintained a presence more or less consistently since.
The dog unit, tactical aid unit and forensics officers have been spotted at the house and a police van was still outside today, February 12.
Neighbours said the occupants of the house were a Polish family but said they knew little about what going on and officers guarding the door would not reveal any details.
The house targeted is one of 19 three-bedroom family homes built in 2010 by housing association Contour Homes.
