Assault

A TEENAGER who admitted assaulting two people has been sentenced to spend 24 hours at an attendance centre.

Bolton Magistrates' Court heard how Mohammed Mansur, aged 19, of Deane Church Lane, Bolton, committed the offences on April 20.

He was also ordered to pay his victims a total of £100 in compensation.

Fail to stop

A WOMAN who drove without insurance and failed to stop after an accident has been fined £220 by magistrates.

At Bolton Magistrates' Court, Tracey Pritchard, aged 39, of Solent Drive, Little Lever, admitted committing the offences on April 11 on her home street, damaging a Vauxhall Corsa.

In addition to the fine Pritchard was ordered to pay £115 in costs and charges.

Motoring

A 19-YEAR-OLD has been sentenced for a trio of motoring offences.

Rene Gazo, of Charlesworth Avenue, Great Lever, admitted driving without due care and attention, driving without insurance and driving without a licence on Tuesday, May 24, at Bolton Magistrates' Court.

He was behind the wheel of a W-reg Rover 75 in Lorne Street, Moses Gate, in April 22 when the offences took place.

Gazo was fined £110 for driving without due care and attention and driving without insurance and was ordered to pay a victim surcharge of £30 and court costs of £85.

His licence was endorsed with eight points.

Electricity

A POWER thief has been fined £50.

Anthony Mills, of Claremont Court, Bolton, admitted at Bolton Magistrates' Court on Tuesday, May 24, to dishonesty wasting or diverting electricity worth £52 on March 7.

The 25-year-old was fined £50 and ordered to pay £40 court costs and a £20 victim surcharge.

Vandal

A YOUNG man wantonly vandalised a car showroom window and a discount supermarket sign in a mini destruction spree.

Conor Mason, of Haydock Street, Bolton, caused £400 damage to an advertising board belonging to Aldi in Higher Bridge Street on May 7.

The 18-year-old also caused a similar value of damage to car windows at the Lythgoe Motors - Bolton Citroen in the same street on the same day.

Mason admitted two counts of criminal damage at Bolton Magistrates' Court on Tuesday, May 24.

He received a 12-month community order with a requirement to complete 15 days' rehabilitation activity and 60 hours' unpaid work.

Mason was ordered to pay £200 compensation each to Aldi and Bolton Citroen.

Thief

A THIEF has being given a curfew and a community order.

Christianne Hubbe, of Gainford Walk, Great Lever, shoplifted five pairs of jeans from the Miss Tempted clothing store in Crompton Place Shopping Centre on May 11.

She admitted one count of theft at Bolton Magistrates' Court on Tuesday and was sentenced.

The 40-year-old was given a six week community order with a 7pm-to-7am electronically-monitored curfew.

She must pay a victim surcharge of £85 and court costs of £85.
