A Chinese restaurant in Horwich is set to reopen next month after closing late last year.

Abacus Oriental Restaurant at Middlebrook Retail and Leisure Park shut in October after 25 years.

The restaurant said it closed due to the lease expiring and finding it difficult to recruit younger chefs.

But the venue has now said it will reopen on Sunday, February 4 after agreeing to extend the lease following several management meetings.
