Bolton police are stepping up patrols around  a derelict building which has become an antisocial behaviour hotspot.

A potentially unsafe property in Horwich has been flagged by residents to police after reports of youths behaving in an antisocial manner in the area.

Officers from the Bolton West Neighbourhood Team say they will be paying particular attention to the area near Strathmore House after ongoing issues on Foxholes Road.

A Greater Manchester Police spokesperson said: “There have been ongoing issues on Foxholes Road in Horwich relating to youths causing anti-social behaviour around Strathmore House.

“The property is a derelict building and potentially unsafe.

“Officers have spoken to various residents who have been affected and the Bolton West Neighbourhood Team will be paying extra attention to the area and working with partner agencies.
