A Bolton MP is hosting a public meeting where he says he hopes to hear people’s views and questions on a range of issues.

Chris Green, MP for Bolton West, will be holding the meeting, which will feature a question-and-answer session, in Westhoughton next month.

He says that the “Meet Your MP” event will be free to attend, with no appointments necessary and that he hopes it will cover a range of local, national and international subjects.

Mr Green said: “It’s always great to hold public meetings, so I can keep up to date with the concerns of my constituents and raise them with the relevant minister, council or organisation.

“It is always a great evening with people attending with many different political persuasions to ask questions or debate a topical point.

“I look forward to seeing many of you there.”

The event will also give people in the area the chance to ask Mr Green broader questions about his role as an MP.

Events like this are often held to help constituents better understand the work their members of parliament do.

The event will take place at The Hub on Central Driver in Westhoughton and will take place between 6pm and 7.30pm on Wednesday February 14.
