A Bolton organisation has been named as one of the UK's best workplaces.

Outcomes First Group provides education to children with special education needs

Great Place To Work® surveyed over 250,000 employees to determine the top companies recognised as the 2024 UK’s Best Workplaces.

Outcomes First Group was placed in the top 50.

This is the fourth time it been ranked a winner in the Great Place to Work™ Best Places to Work™ .

Chief Executive Officer, David Leatherbarrow, thanked his 5,000-plus team for their great work supporting neurodivergent pupils to access an education that caters to their specific needs, abilities and aspirations.

He said, ‘We are extremely proud to be recognised again.

"This year we have had one of our strongest yet and that is down to the dedication and commitment from our teams.

"I am proud to work in this organisation and see the outcomes for our pupils, it is important to recognise those who support and deliver our services.

"We continue to listen to our teams and create a culture and environment where everyone is happy and can continue to educate and inspire our pupils."

The organisation far exceeded the 65 per cent score in the employee and cultural survey, used to evaluate each organisation’s culture, programmes and practice, to secure a listing as a gold standard employer.

Outcomes First Group has adopted the four-day working week.

One employee said ‘Now we have started the 4-day working week, I feel my performance at work and wellbeing have improved significantly’.

Also the organisation prides itself on its career opportunities and professional development accessible to everyone.

One said: "When I started here I didn’t have any experience, but OFG gave me all the training I needed," and another added "I love how the opportunities for personal development are open to everyone, and the training is fabulous."
