A pedestrian was taken to hospital after being involved in a road traffic collision on Friday.
Emergency services including an ambulance, a response vehicle, an air ambulance helicopter and a critical care team were called to reports of a road traffic collision involving a pedestrian at 7.06pm on Bradford Street in Farnworth.
A man was taken to hospital with a head injury.
A North West Ambulance Service spokesperson said: “We responded to a road traffic collision involving a pedestrian on Bradford Street following a call at 7.06pm.
“A man was taken to hospital by road with a head injury.
“An ambulance, response vehicle, air ambulance and a critical care team in a car attended.”
Greater Manchester Police has been approached for more information about the incident.
