WHAT a massive turnaround in performance there has been since Neil Lennon took over Wanderers.

Four wins out of six, he has been playing exciting football that the Bolton fans have been expecting from a side blessed with so much talent.

He comes up against a Blackpool side rock bottom of the Championship this weekend but regardless, Lennon will want to pick up where his team left off before the international break.

Wanderers go into the game full of confidence and playing some attractive football. There are still some questions over the back four but I think the midfield and striker seems to be playing with so much more freedom than they were under Dougie Freedman.

The key players for me are Mark Davies, Chung Yong Lee and Craig Davies. If the club has any chance of doing well this season, they have got to stay fit.

Blackpool have had their issues, the chairman has sacked two managers so far and financially they haven’t bought any top players since being relegated from the Premier League.

Their fans have called for the chairman to leave and that instability tells you why the team has struggled and why they have only won one game.

Bottom of the table is not a nice place to be and the current squad seems to be a group of unwanted players from different leagues that have been put together, hoping to get a result here and there.

Victory would put Wanderers 15th or 16th depending on results but in this league you have to win your games before worrying about anyone else.

Neil Lennon will make sure his side plays with the same energy, desire and hunger as they did in their previous game. They were keen to win the ball back quickly and turn it over to counter attack and much better in possession of the ball.

Since he took charge Bolton have conceded six and scored 12. Defensively I think there will still be come concerns but I am sure he has used the break well to work on that.

We need to capitalise on Blackpool’s dreadful start. The White Army will be there in full force to support the boys and hopefully we can come away with three points.
