QUESTION marks still hang over the future of Chung-Yong Lee as the January transfer window enters its final few days.

The Korean star will have a scan on Monday to assess whether he will be able to resume playing after sustaining a hairline fracture in his shin.

But exactly whose shirt he will be pulling on is another matter entirely.

Crystal Palace remain interested but have failed thus far to sort out a deal with Wanderers, while Hull City boss Steve Bruce is also an admirer of the 26-year-old playmaker and would take him on loan.

But the Whites are digging in their heels for cash – and Neil Lennon expects at least one of the interested clubs to make their move over the weekend.

“He’s due another scan on Monday, so that will give us a clearer indication of where he is,” he said of Chung-Yong’s injury. “Maybe he’s two or three weeks down the line and he should be fine.

“In terms of interest, there are two Premier League clubs looking at him, but no confirmed bids yet.

“I’d imagine there will be some movement on that in the next couple of days but whether it satisfies us is another thing.”
