BOLTON School pupil Elizabeth Harkness has earned a place with the Lancashire FA Under-13s Development Squad for the 2015-16 season.
The Year 7 pupil's achievement is even more impressive as her age-category is u12.
As well as weekly training sessions with the development squad, Lizzy will continue to play for her grassroots team, Preston North End.
As the season progresses, she will represent her county at a number of fixtures.
In addition to playing football, Lizzy also plays tennis at Bolton Arena.
In School, she is part of the talented athlete programme, which gives elite young sportswomen access to special sessions tailored to help them in their sporting careers.
