Wanderers pair Josh Dacres-Cogley and Josh Sheehan have been named in the League One Team of the Season.

Dacres-Cogley has been an almost ever-present figure for the Whites since joining on a free transfer from Tranmere last summer, making 41 league appearances so far.

The 28-year-old has made the right wing-back spot his own, contributing at both ends of the pitch including three goals.

Meanwhile, Sheehan has played a key role in the middle of the pitch, building on his strong form at the back end of last season.

The Welshman has managed 12 assists in the league and his consistent performances earned opportunities to represent his country during the friendlies against South Korea and Gibraltar.

Elsewhere, Portsmouth goalkeeper Will Norris got the nod between the sticks after keeping 18 clean sheets in 43 matches.

Conor Shaughnessy, Eiran Cashin and Harrison Burrows were chosen alongside Dacres-Cogley in defence.

Nathaniel Mendez-Laing, Marlon Pack and Ephron Mason-Clark were picked in midfield with Sheehan.

Alfie May and Jamie Reid – who have scored 23 and 18 league goals respectively this season – make up the attack.

Peterborough full-back Burrows was named League One Player of the Season ahead of Derby winger Mendez-Laing and Portsmouth midfielder Marlon Pack.

Pompey boss John Mousinho was crowned Manager of the Season in the third tier. Steve Evans and Darren Ferguson were also shortlisted for the prize.

The Championship awards were claimed by Crysencio Summerville and Kieran McKenna respectively, while Jodi Jones and Nigel Clough were the winners in League Two.

Off the pitch, Wanderers made the final three for the EFL Diversity Award which was ultimately claimed by Huddersfield.
