A talk revealing the origin of surnames will take place tonight.
Over Hulton Heritage Group's guest speaker for the month is Peter Watson, who will be explaining the stories behind people's names.
His Book of Surnames has 50,000 entries and those attending will have a chance to look up their own name.
Those who want their surname highlighting at the talk should mention it at the time of booking.
The talk takes place on at 7pm (May 8) at Over Hulton Conservative Club.
Admission for adults is £5, and under-14s is free.
